AFAST Project Status
But we are still brand new. At this time we have openings for Fundraisers.
We have both volunteer and paid openings we need to fill now.
Community Center
Status: Funds are being raised at this time to start this project.
The Starting Place for the AFAST Community. More than an adult day
care program. The vision is more of a Community Center that will not only
care for adults with special needs, but be a place for employing those with the
ability to care for those in need. Resturant, game center, educational centers,
therapy rooms and more just some of the features of the Community Center.
Computer Recycle Center
Status: Planning
Jobs for the Special Needs Community.
Computers that can be refirbished will be sold in the Thrift Store. All obsolete
units will be stripped and parts sold as salvage.
Thrift/Ebay Store
Status: Planning
Jobs for the Special
Needs Community. Donated items will be washed, cleaned and repaired by the
employees from the AFAST Community Center.
Special Projects
We will from time to time take on special projects to help the community and provide
jobs for members of the AFAST Community.
Swing Set Project: We have received a donation to build a swingset for a young man
with austism who has out grown his old one. As anyone who
as been around those with Autism, many of them NEED and really enjoy swinging.
STATUS: We are in the design and planning stage.
